Gallery Place
Western Development Project
When Gallery Place opened its doors in 2004, it became Washington, D.C.’s most important mixed-use and retail attraction overnight. The addition of Gallery Place transformed a somber Chinatown intersection into the busiest pedestrian corner in the District. Gallery Place combines office, retail, dining, and urban residential lifestyle within walking distance of D.C.’s many cultural attractions and downtown offices, and it provides a unique new outlet of entertainment for the city’s residents.
